Huawei Pura 70 series exceeds 11 million activated units
Huawei Pura 70 series is selling well in its home ground as the flagship line has surpassed 11 million activated units. The standard variants including the Satellite SMS model have received the highest number of activations in the Chinese market.
Activation is generally the total number of new smartphones actively being used or turned on for the first time within a given period. It is the analysis of the number of users using a particular product at a specific time in the market.
Pura 70 series debuted in April last year. An early input revealed that the top-end lineup has surpassed 10 million units, hinting at its amazing sales performance in the market. Now a new input adds more insights into this subject.
Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation reveals that the Huawei Pura 70 series is selling well in China and has exceeded over 11 million activated units. The Standard Pura 70 and Satellite SMS models together account for over 5 million activated units.
Meanwhile, the Pura 70 Pro has crossed 3 million units. The rest of the units are probably owned by Pro+ and Ultra variants. It suggests consumers love the unique flagship lineup for its camera and design configurations.
The tipster further said that Pura 80 smartphones will have some upgraded imaging features but may not equip a new Kirin chipset. Perhaps Huawei will continue to use Mate 70’s Kirin processor for the upcoming flagship lineup. It could debut in May this year.
