On 12 August 2021, Huawei publishes a new patent related to the power adapter with the publication number CN113242670A in China. The company explains that this new technology will help in decreasing the charger cover temperature.

According to the information, this Chinese tech firm filed the patent on the 16th April 2021 under the title “A Power Adapter and Its Manufacturing Method”. This patent provides the manufacturing method and the description of a set of modules used in the method, it includes the following components.

  • The Housing Module
  • A Circuit Board Assembly
  • First Heat Dissipation Part

Arrangements:

The adapters’ housing module has an inward supporting space, while the first end is connected by a line interface and the other is connected by a power connector.

Moving ahead the circuit board assembly is placed in the supporting space of the hosing module. Thus, it’s indirectly connected with the power connector and circuit interface.

As for the first heat dissipation part, it’s mounted around the circuit board assembly keeping the gap between the outer wall of the heat dissipation part and the inner wall of the cover.

Described Procedure:

The Huawei power adapter patent provides a working method for the adapter set arranged in the manner mentioned above. In the method, when an air layer is formed between the first heat sink and the housing, the thermal resistance between the circuit board assembly and the housing raise rapidly.

Afterward, the heat prevention speed between the adapter body and cover is used in a short time, while preventing the device from overheating. That’s how this arrangement efficiently diminishes the temperature of the power adapter shell. And, the security, reliability, and durability of the power adapter have been improved greatly.
