Huawei preparing two flagship and one mid-range MatePad tablet

A new leak says that Huawei is developing three new MatePad tablets, two of which are flagship while one is a mid-range tablet. These devices will likely bring major enhancements over the previous-gen models with stable HarmonyOS 5.0.
Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation revealed that Huawei is currently testing two flagship and one mid-range tablet. All these tablets will have different screen sizes.
The first one could adopt a Kirin 8 series chip with an 11.5-inch customized LCD screen. It may be a mid-range tablet and belong to next-gen MatePad 11.5 S series.
The second device may use a Kirin 9 series chip with a small 8.8-inch OLED panel. Perhaps this is the rumored small-sized flagship MatePad tablet that will feature a new form factor with a 16:10 wide screen and bring a useful office experience.

The third tablet could also feature a Kirin 9 series chip with a 14-inch OLED screen. This is expected to be a top-end MatePad tablet that may debut by the end of this year. Other features of these devices are currently unknown.
Huawei has said to unveil ‘beyond imagination’ products this year. Pura X is the first extraordinary device of 2025 with a new form factor and dynamic features.
On the other hand, the company is preparing HarmonyOS PC devices that will launch next month. Ahead of that, some MatePad tablets with new and significant changes have started emerging in the leaks section.
The company may unveil one of these tablets with the Pura 80 series and one with the Mate 80 lineup. Huawei hasn’t confirmed any details on its upcoming products, including tablets. Though we may grab more info in the time ahead.
