Huawei-powered AITO M8 SUV to go official on April 16

HarmonyOS Smart Driving Unit has announced that the Huawei AITO M8 SUV will go official on April 16. The company has been taking pre-orders of the dynamic smart car from last month. It will finally step on the last stage by next week.

According to the official information, Huawei will host a new product launch event on April 16 and unveil the ultimate AITO M8 SUV smart car for its consumers.

The company may also bring the extended-range of STELATO S9 smart car on the same stage. Although Huawei hasn’t mentioned any details about this SUV yet.

Coming back, AITO M8 has time to go official in the market. But it looks like the smart car has already gathered center stage in the Chinese automobile segment. It has surpassed 100,000 pre-orders within a month, which is no less than a surprise.

Inputs reveal that the Huawei-powered AITO M8 SUV will be available in five and six-seater options. It will have dimensions of 5190 x 1999 x 1795mm and a wheelbase of 3105mm. The car may also have two battery capacity variants: 51.975kWh and 36.019kWh.

AITO M8 has a starting price of 368,000 yuan. It is still available in pre-orders on the official AITO website. While the official images and driving skills of the new smart car have surfaced online, we will finally witness it on April 16.
