Huawei Pocket 3 to use brand-new power button and design tweaks

Huawei Pocket 3 vertical foldable may debut with a more premium design and a new power button layout. The company may use renovated power and volume rockers for its upcoming product. Meanwhile, the cover screen may get a complete makeover.
Yu Chengdong – the Chairman of Huawei Consumer Business recently shed light on the “form factor” of its most incredible smartphone. The company has said to craft the new device with different technologies, giving it a major design revamp.
Weibo tipsters now revealed that the Huawei Pocket 3 foldable could feature a brand-new power button design. The folding phone is expected to adopt a unique shape and size. Major changes could be visible in the cover screen and button layout.

Another tipster added that Pocket 3 will feature a small “makeup box” like shape with a large “square external screen”. This addition will allow users to experience better interactivity and gameplay on the cover display of the flip-flop smartphone.
The tipster further said that Huawei may adjust the position of the power tab in the Pocket 3 foldable. The predecessor has the power tab below volume rockers on the left side (from the back). It seems the OEM may locate these tabs in a new place.

Regarding the cover screen, a tipster in the comment section hints that the Huawei Pocket 3 external display could rotate to 360 degrees. Though the accuracy of this point is still in dilemma.
Huawei has suggested a new form factor for its mysterious phone. Thus, the leaked adjustments could be considered in the Pocket 3 foldable’s design. But how far these tweaks fit in the real device’s appearance would be worth looking forward to.
Pocket 3 folding phone may launch next month with a stunning look and a set of new functionalities. By that time, we may hit some more revelations regarding the camera, chips, and other key parameters of the expected “mini” foldable.
Early Revelations
The device may equip a small 6.3-inch main display and a large 3.5-inch cover screen. It may also use a Kirin 9010 derivative with optimized cores. A leak also suggested Mate 70’s multi-spectral camera for the respective model.
