Huawei Pocket 3 cover screen could be larger than Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6

Huawei Pocket 3 could defeat the rival Samsung Galaxy  Z Flip 6 in terms of cover screen. A reliable tipster said that the device may feature a “larger-than-expected” external display with enhanced gameplay and several interactive capabilities.

Samsung flip-flop models carry a huge cover screen on the back. It is one of the key areas that set the Galaxy Z Flip models above its competitors in the market.

Looks like the Chinese phone maker is seemingly planning to surpass Samsung in this aspect. A rumor suggests that the upcoming Huawei Pocket 3 will feature a larger cover screen than the Galaxy Z Flip 6 foldable.

DigitalChatStation says that a small foldable is coming soon with a 3:2 inner screen ratio, a 6.3-inch main screen, and a 3.5-inch cover screen. Following the leak, many netizens said that the device feels more like a small folding tablet.

Galaxy Z Flip 6 has a 3.4-inch cover screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, 720 x 748 pixels resolution, and 1600 nits peak brightness. It uses a Super AMOLED panel for the external side while a foldable dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2x for the main screen.

Huawei has used a 1.15-inch cover display for the Pocket 2 and a 2.14-inch external screen for the Nova Flip. Now the company is set to make a big move in the ‘cover screen’ segment with the upcoming clamshell product.
