Huawei patents Vehicle Emergency Calling technology to assists calls through smartphones

On December 18, 2020, Huawei has applied for a new patent for vehicle and their emergency call methods, devices, and system, which is passed on April 27, 2021, with publication number CN112715033A in China.

The patent application discloses a vehicle and its emergency call method, device, and system, and relates to the field of vehicle technology.

In-vehicle communication components in the system when it is determined that the vehicle has an emergency rescue request then the wireless communication can be used to send an assistance call to the mobile device and the mobile can then send an emergency call to the rescue platform based on the assistance call.

If the mobile communication components parts are damaged, or hard-wired will be the new connection between the in-vehicle communication component and other devices. The performance of the in-vehicle communication group and other mobile devices assist in sending emergency call requests, thereby effectively improving the reliability of the emergency call system.

In the order to become the largest smart vehicle technology supplier for vehicle manufacturers, Huawei is continuously securing its new ideas and innovation in form of a patent for future use.
