Huawei P70 series could do something new with its hybrid camera

Earlier, we reported that the Huawei P70 series is likely to feature a hybrid camera. Now new inputs suggest that the company could add some more enhancements to this speculated hybrid lens to boost the photography experience.

Weibo tipster @FixedFocus said that Huawei is planning new changes for the P70 series hybrid camera. Eventually, the respective lens carries multiple benefits and the company is trying to meet them effectively.

Adding more, the tipster says the glass-plastic hybrid lens aims to improve heat dissipation so that it may not affect image quality. It further has a thinner body compared to other digital cameras and occupies less room. The lens can offer low-position angles for better insights.

As per the details, the Huawei P70 Art is the one to mainly equip the 1-inch IMX 989 sensor with the glass-plastic hybrid lens. As mentioned, the hybrid lens packs several advantages and provides higher-quality images with sharp pixels and less chromatic aberration.

On the flip side, it is a cost-effective and user-friendly addition to handsets. The company has picked the 1G6P hybrid lens to impose on the P70 Art along with an IMX 989 main camera sensor for better optical performance.

Meanwhile, the standard model is said to use a 5p lens (1/3.6-inch) and the Pro model will pack a 6p lens (1/2.5-inch) sensor for the telephoto-based shots. No doubt, the tech giant is preparing amazing surprises with more focus on the camera’s functioning.
