Huawei P50 series launch event set for July 29, and we’re just a few days away from this unveiling. The excitement and hype are real, as Huawei prepares to introduce its new flagship.

However, the Huawei P50 lineup will not be the only device that will make its debut at the Huawei Flagship Product Launch Conference. Because there’s a full batch of devices that will also join the Huawei P50 series launch party.

So, let’s preview and explore what we can expect from the Huawei P50 series launch event.

First, let’s come to the main spotlight of the event, Huawei P50. This lineup consists of three models:

All three devices are planned and developed to provide a new user experience but the camera section is also ready to surpass all of its predecessors throughout the entire P series segment.

Aside from Kirin chipset, Huawei will also be using a 4G Qualcomm Snapdragon processor on the Huawei P50 series.

Furthermore, Huawei has installed some of the newest camera technologies to the Huawei P50 trio and will bring it in front of the viewers.

On July 29, Huawei will unveil two new smart screen smart TVs that include the first mini LED smart TV. The second one is the first time ever – 98-inch giant smart TV. both of these smart devices will come with better sound quality and are pre-packed with HarmonyOS 2.

Huawei has already launched the Huawei Band 6 and at the launch event, Huawei Band 6 Pro is likely to make its way to the announcement list. However, we’ll be excited to see what improvement its brings over the non-pro version.

Huawei has confirmed that a new children’s touchscreen tablet product is coming for the children and it’ll be the first children’s product that is powered by the HM OS.

Huawei and Skyscanner partners for Petal Search integration

Huawei and Skyscanner, one of the leading global travel marketplace, have formed a partnership to bring various travel services for Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and Petal Search and Petal Maps. Skyscanner has a global reach and covers over 1000 suppliers that are now integrated into Huawei Mobile Services native applications such as Petal Search and Petal Maps.

The integration of Skyscanner in Huawei devices will allow them to search and compare flights, hotels, and car hire globally and helps you finalize the search.

Petal Search brings you unique recommendations and inspiration features including a travel channel, which highlights offers that can help them to build their own automatic travel experience.

Users can access the services through various features including the Petal Search app, Petal Search webs version, Huawei Assistnatn or simply swipe down on the Huawei smartphones to access the EMUI AI search bar.

Be assured that Huawei will rollout Skyscanner integration on over 40 million Petal Search users in 170 countries, and over 28 million monthly active users of Petal Maps in 160 countries. To be mentioned, the integration feature is currently available for users in Europe but it’ll soon expand widely in the global market.

Huawei confirms Leica camera partnership end

Today, Huawei has (via AndroidAuthority) confirmed that the strategic partnership with Leica ended on March 31. This is quite a confirmation that we’ve been waiting for and we’re interested to see what the next camera phone from Huawei will bring for the consumers.

Earlier this day, Xiaomi officially confirmed the kick-off of the strategic partnership with Leica. The well-known camera imaginary enhancing technology company is based in Germany.

Currently, Xiaomi has not confirmed the first device that will feature Leica powered camera system but it’s expected that Xiaomi 12 could be the first one to bring it to the Xiaomi consumers.

Huawei and Leica ran long hand in hand and the journey of these two partners started with the launch of the Huawei P9 in 2016. The match was later followed by the Mate 9 lineup and the consequential models from top Huawei flagships.

HarmonyOS and EMUI creator leaving Huawei

It’s surely bad news to hear, that Huawei consumer business group software department president – Wan Chenglu is leaving Huawei. He has been known as the creator and leader of two core Huawei consumer-based software – HarmonyOS and EMUI and it’s heartbreaking to know that he’s making his way out of the Chinese tech giant’s shadow but there’s also an interesting side to this story.

According to the Chinese news sources, Dr. Wang Changlu, creator and leader of Huawei’s HarmonyOS and EMUI has left Huawei and is likely to join Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd. The inputs reveal that he’s taking this step to further conduct his research on HarmonyOS operating system and expand the reach of this operating system for both consumer and industrial use cases.

Shenzhen Kaihong Digital Industry Development Co., Ltd. (Shen Kaihong) was established on August 26, 2021. This firm mainly focuses on the research and development of IoT operating systems. According to the listing, Shenzhen Kaihong has reportedly been seeing growth in HarmonyOS operating system in the industry.

The tech maker is one of the top contributors to the HarmonyOS operating system ecosystem and is committed to promoting high-tech companies in consumer IoT and Industry IoT businesses.
