Huawei released a brand new software update for the global models of the Huawei P50 Pro smartphone and comes with a bunch of new optimizations for display, apps, and network, which may want to get right away.

According to the details, Huawei is sending these new optimizations for display. Also, the update package contains improvements for network capabilities. One of the things that we’ve noticed is that the company is removing the LinkNow app from global models and the P50 Pro is no exception to this removal process.

The latest Huawei P50 Pro firmware improves system stability for better performance. Yet, it’s surprising to see that Huawei is installing March 2023 security patch for the P50 Pro, which should have been in April 2023. That’s it guys, this is all that’s inside the changelog and it’s quite important for a better user experience.

EMUI 13:

The question arises when these devices will get a suitable installation of EMUI 13. Meanwhile, the answer is currently unknown. On the other hand, the company keeps on testing the latest EMUI 13 beta build in some Asian market, which also raise the bar of frustration among consumers.

As we move towards the conclusion of the first half of this year, there’s a strong urge to know what Huawei has actually planned for global consumers.

Staged rollout:

This upgrade is tagged with the new EMUI version 12.0.1.290 and it comes with a 358-megabyte of package size. The latest display, apps, and network optimizations for Huawei P50 Pro come in batches. It may take some time to reach your smartphone. Make sure you tune into settings to check for new firmware. Your personal data will not be deleted by the update. However, we recommend that you back up important data before updating.
