Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ are the top models of the entire lineup and come with the latest hardware and software specs. One of these new stuff includes the 90Hz refresh rate display.

A higher refresh rate allows the display to refresh the screen content more dynamically. The difference for you would be smoother animations compared to a 60Hz panel. Gaming would also be a treat, particularly in fast-paced titles.

According to our information, users of Huawei P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ will be able to select screen refresh rate between the followings:

  • Standard – Refresh at up to 60Hz to save power.
  • High – Refresh at up to 90Hz for smoother animations.

With the 90 Hz refresh rate, you can enjoy an immersive view over the entire fluid screen.

However, it would be nicer if the Huawei P40 Pro+ featured a 120Hz display, instead of 90Hz. But the improvement could be made in the Mate 40 series.
