Breaking: EE rolls out EMUI 10 for Huawei P30 series in the UK

Finally, EE UK has shown mercy to the owners of the Huawei P30 series in the UK and started sending the EMUI 10 to their devices, ending long wait streak.

Other major mobile operators in the UK including Vodafone UK, Three, O2 already sent EMUI 10 updates to their subscribers as well as unlocked phones.

EMUI 10 is built on top of Android 10 and brings new changes in the UX design and introduces new features including Magazine Style UI layout, Morandi Colors, Dark Mode, Golden Icons, New Animations, Improved privacy features.

Version and expansion:

The EMUI 10 update for Huawei P30 and P30 Pro on the EE network comes with EMUI version 10.0.0.178.

Note: This update is rolling out in batches and may take some time to reach out to your device.

To check this update follow the instructions below:

Via Settings:

1. Open Settings
2. Click on ‘System’
3. Click on ‘Software update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’

Via HiCare:

1. Open HiCare app
2. Click on ‘Services’ tab
3. Click on ‘Update’
4. Click on ‘CHECK FOR UPDATES’
5. Click on ‘Download and install’
