Today, Huawei has shuffled the list of Huawei devices for monthly and quarterly EMUI security updates. The company has added a few new devices and delisted a few including the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro.

Huawei P20 and P20 Pro were listed in the monthly security patch section but now these devices are stepped down from their places. Since the P20 users have a pending EMUI 10 upcoming, these devices may get more updates in the upcoming months.

However, removal from the list is a sign that the time for security patches may come to an end for Huawei P20 and P20 Pro. This may not happen sometime soon after upgrading to EMUI 10.

Last week, Huawei P20 series started receiving EMUI 10 in Malaysia. However, a wider rollout is yet to begin including for the European region.

Back in February, Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, and Mate 10 Porsche Design removed from the security updates cycle. While the users of Huawei Mate 10 series also in the queue waiting for the EMUI 10 upgrade.
