Huawei OceanProtect Data solution won Gartner customer choice award

Huawei OceanProtect Data Security solution has received the 2025 Gartner customer choice award. Among several competitors, Huawei is the only Chinese manufacturer to achieve this feat with its significant data shielding technologies.

Gartner is a global consulting and analysis organization. It has released the Gartner Peer Insights report, highlighting the best data backup and recovery solution.

The Gartner Peer Insights is an evaluation platform for enterprise IT services and products. It shares reviews of products from customers regarding the service support, product capabilities, deployment integration, and more.

Based on these criteria, the company then awards products and its producer with the Customer Choice honor. At the same time, this process informs manufacturers about the purchasing decisions of consumers.

Customers from global financial, energy, media, medical, education, and other fields evaluated Huawei OceanProtect data protection in various aspects.

For instance, system architecture, product functions, deployment, and service support. Huawei ranked first among the 50 mainstream backup vendors in the world with a score of 4.9 and won the Gartner customer choice award 2025 for OceanProtect data solution.
