Huawei Nova Y73 clears GCF and TUV certifications, launch nears

Huawei Nova Y73 smartphone is one step closer to launch as it has now appeared on the GCF and TUV SUV certifications. The device will likely debut as the rebranded version of the Enjoy 80 that has recently made its way to the Chinese market.
Often, the company used to launch Enjoy handsets as rebranded versions in the global market. Last year, the company released the Enjoy 70 as the Nova Y72 smartphone. Now it is planning another Nova Y series handset for its global users.
The phone maker has listed the Huawei Nova Y73 on the GCF and TUV SUD databases, and the device has cleared the respective certifications. It has appeared with the MGA-LX3 model number and 12974 reference number.
GCF is a Global Certification Forum that verifies a device with embedded wireless modules can interoperate with various mobile networks. It ensures that the product meets relevant network standards and technical requirements.
As per the GCF listing, the device supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks. It may not be a 5G-capable phone. Though we can expect stable connectivity with the device.

On the other hand, the TUV SUD certificate, which signifies a product’s safety, quality, and sustainability, reveals that the device will feature an IP64 rating with a Class III protective design and low power operation.
The rest of key specs and features of the Nova Y73 are currently unknown. But the latest certifications hint that the device is nearing its global launch date.

Based on previous revelations, the Nova Y73 can bring similar specs to the Enjoy 80 on board. It could showcase a P50-like design and run on the 12nm Kirin 710 series chipset. The device may have a 6.67-inch screen and a 50MP main camera.
