A well-known Weibo tipster has revealed that Huawei Nova 9 series is likely to only feature a 4G chipset. Meanwhile, the tipster suggested that the phone doesn’t carry 5G, therefore, the Nova 9 lineup may not come with 5G connectivity.
Aside from 5G, Huawei Nova 8 has new color options as well as new technologies. The advancement made to the Nova 9 series could match the recently launched Huawei P50 series flagship.

Huawei Nova 9 with model number – RTE-AL00 has recently completed Telecommunication Equipment’s Network Access Managements (TENAA) certificate in China.
According to the images revealed in the certification authority, Huawei Nova 9 comes with a curved edge display. The screen has a wide punch-hole design to house at least two selfie cameras.
On the rear side, the phone equips a new quad-camera system. If we look at the design, the Nova 9 pushes improvements over the Nova 8 series and includes two ring system. The above ring consist of a single camera, the second ring has three different lenses along with an LED flash.
The camera system stands on top of the chart, yet it looks identical to the Honor 50. The rear side also has the Nova logo followed by the Huawei brand logo.
Huawei Nova 9 Launch date:
A previous report reveals that Huawei Nova 9 series will launch somewhere around mid-September. As for now, there’s not much of the information that has been leaked.
Huawei Nova 9 series could consist of two models – Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro. These phones will come with some specs except for the camera configurations. Furthermore, both phones may feature a new OLED display and HarmonyOS operating system.
A report reveals that the Nova 9 may use Kirin 990E chipset. While its predecessor, the Nova 8 devices were powered by the 7nm Kirin 985. This chip provides a faster 5G uplink, faster transmission, and a more stable connection.
The Nova 8 was launched with two models namely Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro. While the next-to-come models include the Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro.
