March 2022 HarmonyOS security update has started making its way to Huawei devices. Meanwhile, Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition – a China-exclusive smartphone is receiving February 2022 HarmonyOS security update.

According to the information, Huawei Nova 8 SE Vitality Edition’s February 2022 update has landed on the ground with HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.226. However, the required base HM OS version to get this update is 2.0.0.225.

On the other hand, Huawei Nova 8 series models including Nova 8, Nova 8 Pro, and Nova 8 SE have already collected the Feb 2022 security patch last week. The security improvements boost system privacy and protect the device against threats.

In the HarmonyOS system, Huawei has fixed over 60 security and privacy issues among them 1 CVEs belongs to Kernel, 1 CVE form system, and the rest 40 CVEs were resolved in third-party libraries.
