Huawei Nova 8 Pro leak suggests BOE and Visionox made OLED display panels

Huawei is set to launch the upcoming member of the Nova family, the Huawei Nova 8 series on December 23. It was reported that the new Nova 8 lineup will come with the Kirin 985 chipset instead of the MediaTek Dimensity chipset.

We’re just a few days away from the Nova 8 series launch and the new leaks and renders are continuously appearing online. However, the previous leaks already revealed most of the specifications of Nova 8 and Nova 8 Pro.

Now, a new leak has emerged, which suggests that the Nova 8 Pro comes with a 6.72-inch OLED flexible display with 2656 x 1236 pixels customizable resolution, 120Hz screen refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and 80-degree large curvature. The leaks also disclose the OLED display suppliers that include China’s BOE and Visionox.

Moreover, Huawei Nova 8 Pro will be Huawei’s first smartphone that comes with a 120Hz screen refresh rate.
