Huawei Nova 7 Series Software Updates [July 1, 2021]

In April 2020, Huawei introduced its new Nova series phones – Huawei Nova 7 series, consisting of Huawei Nova 7 SE, Nova 7, and Nova 7 Pro. All of these phones are 5G enabled.

Huawei Nova 7 series comes with pre-installed EMUI 10.1 and available to upgrade on EMUI 11 update. Users of respective devices can download the EMUI 11 update to experience new features.

For further improvements, every month sends software updates to improve this lineup. In this article, you can capture all of the Huawei Nova 7 series software updates, changes, improvements, made to its EMUI firmware.

Huawei Nova 7 and Nova 7 Pro:

Multi-Device Control Panel:

Allows you to connect to your devices more easily by using the Multi-Device Control Panel, such as when connecting to your audio input or output device during music and video playback. Swipe up from the left or right of the bottom edge when the screen is unlocked to access the Multi-Device Control Panel. Go to Settings> More connections> Multi-Device Collaboration to try it out.

Camera: Dual-picture recording adds picture-in-picture mode.

System: Optimizes Multi-Window mode experience.

Call: Improves the calling experience.

Application: Optimizes compatibility with some third-party apps.

Display: Optimizes display effect of contents and icons.

Security: Integrates the Android security patches released in June 2020 for improved system security.

How to update Huawei Nova 7 Series:

To download this update manually, go to Settings then System & updates, then open Software update, from here select Check for updates. If an update is available it’ll pop-up on your phone and an option of Download and install will appear. Press the option and start to download.

Alternatively, you can also request software updates through the Support app. To do this, open the Support app, go to the Service tab on the bottom bar, tap on the update, then select Check for updates and then download and install.
