Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G began collecting March 2021 security improvements

Huawei always takes care of its devices and releases software, feature and security update regular for further enhancement and to improve user’s experience.

Early in April, Huawei has delivered a firmware update for Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G smartphone that brought Link Now desktop application and system stability optimizations.

Now, the company has begun sending another new software update in the same month for Nova 7 SE 5G. This update mainly brings the security patch released in March 2021 for improved system security.

Latest EMUI Version: Huawei Nova 7 SE 5G users can found this update with EMUI 10.1 version 10.1.1.211 upgrading 10.1.1.210.

March 2021 Security Patch Details: This security patch fixes 2 critical, 13 high, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

Update steps:

There are two ways that you can download this latest software update, both of these areas the following:

VIA SETTINGS:

1. Go to Settings
2. Tap on System & updates
3. Tap Software update
4. Tap Check for Updates
5. Download and Install
6. Install

After the installation and restart, we recommend you let the system optimize the new application so your device can run smoothly on further commands.

VIA SUPPORT:

You can also request this update via the Support app with the following instructions.

1. Open the Support app
2. Go to the Services tab
3. Tap on Update
4. Download and Install
5. Install

Key points to users before Update:

• The device must have a better battery backup to install this update that is a minimum of 50%.
• It’s compulsory to check your storage availability(Internal/External SDcard) to download the latest update as per its size required
• A strong WiFi/mobile data connection is required for a buffer-free download of the package.

EMUI 11 status:

To date, EMUI 11 is the latest EMUI version that every Huawei device user wants to install to experience its advanced features and brand new user interface. In this line, Huawei Nova 7 SE is also an EMUI 11 eligible device but the official status is still unconfirmed.
