Huawei Nova 5T Ringtone fix Expanding

Later last month, Huawei started releasing the Ringtone issue fix patch to the Huawei Nova 5T devices, while, the update rollout is now expanding to more markets. The main aim of this new Nova 5T firmware update is to fix the issue of Ringtone for incoming calls.

Earlier, the Chinese phone maker confirmed that the Huawei Nova 5T Ringtone issue will be fixed with a future system patch. As promised, the company is gradually expanding the reach of the Huawei Nova 5T Ringtone issue fix to more countries globally.

As it’s just an issue fix firmware update, it doesn’t hold any EMUI build version for the Huawei Nova 5T devices. Meanwhile, the changelog mentions briefed information about the revision i.e. fixes for the issue when ringtone settings are not applied for incoming calls in certain cases.

Since the initial update rollout has begun a few days back, Huawei seems quite fast when it comes to expanding the latest OTA to its popular Huawei Nova 5T smartphone consumers. The update might soon be deployed in more markets, therefore, stay tuned with HC Newsroom.

Here’s how to install new OTA

Starting the installation procedure on a Huawei device is quite easy as you just need to head towards your handset’s system Settings, now tap on System & updates, followed by Software updates, and Check for updates. Once done, your device will connect to Huawei servers and start downloading the update if it fetches an OTA.
