Today, Huawei announced HarmonyOS 3 beta testing announcement for Nova 5 Pro. Alongside this, the Chinese tech maker is allowing its first foldable phone, Mate X users to participate in the Beta activity.
Huawei Nova 5 Pro is one of the most popular Nova series devices and it’s kind of identical to the global Huawei Nova 5T. However, the phone is released a long ago and it’s interesting that the company gave it a place in the roadmap.
According to the information, HarmonyOS 3 beta activity for Huawei Nova 5 Pro and Mate X allows HarmonyOS 2 users to test the latest features ahead of the full rollout. However, the HarmonyOS 3 beta recruitment is currently open for a limited number of testers.
Also, it includes the following models a required HarmonyOS 2 software version.
Huawei Nova 5 Pro users with model SEA-AL10 and HarmonyOS 2 version 22.214.171.1241 and 270 are eligible to get the software. On the flip side, the Huawei Mate X is also able to sign up with model number TAH-AN00 and HarmonyOS 2 version 126.96.36.1994.
To be mentioned, this is closed beta recruitment, Huawei will review applied applications in order to deliver a HarmonyOS 3 beta builds to select phone users.
Huawei Mate X:
Huawei Mate X is the first Huawei foldable smartphone, the phone was launched in 2019. Both Nova 5 Pro and Mate X come with pre-installed EMUI software and the phone owners are now happy to upgrade to the newest version.
HarmonyOS 3 comes with a variety of new features such as smart folders with new layouts, better phone services, smart widgets, smart layout arrangement, better security, and privacy as well as other important optimizations.
