Huawei Nova 14 Ultra may bring flagship vibes with major chip and camera upgrades. A new leak suggests that the company is optimizing the high-end model and integrating a few Mate 70 Pro’s specifications to deliver a premium user experience.
DigitalChatStation has shared Huawei Nova 14 Ultra key specs, including camera and chip details. The new mid-ranger may equip an improved Kirin 9 series chipset. It is expected to deliver a significant performance boost over predecessors.
On the other hand, the high-end model could bring the Mate 70 Pro’s multi-spectral camera sensor. A previous leak speculated the same tip for the Nova 14 Pro.
A multi-spectral camera (aka Red Maple Primary color lens) is a 1.5MP lens that leads to more vibrant images than a normal sensor. It improves color accuracy and highlights natural skin tones even under dim light conditions.

Further inputs reveal that the Nova 14 Ultra will sport a 12MP telephoto lens and pre-install HarmonyOS 5.0 stable upgrade. Other details include storage options:

As per the tipster, the Nova 14 Ultra will use a 6.8-inch flat screen. It is big compared to Nova 13 Pro and the Nova 12 Ultra, and may bring an effective visual experience.
The tipster adds that the Huawei Nova 14 series smartphones can debut this month, probably alongside the HarmonyOS-powered PC on May 19. The company hasn’t confirmed the launch details for its upcoming mid-rangers yet. But it may soon drop an official teaser on this matter.
Perhaps the Nova 14 series will be the strongest Nova handsets to date, with major changes to Kirin chip performance, camera features, and software experience.
