Huawei Nova 14 series will likely debut on May 19

Huawei has scheduled a grand launch event for the HarmonyOS-powered PC on May 19, and the company can also unveil the new mid-range lineup Nova 14 series, at the same event. A few inputs suggest more products in the coming weeks.

WangzaiKnowsEverything says that Huawei can launch the Nova 14 series on May 19. The tipster adds the upcoming lineup will bring flat-screen phones to the table.

Earlier, some tipsters speculated that Huawei could launch Nova 14 models later this month, probably on May 22. However, the OEM has finally hinted that the next-gen mid-rangers could go official in the upcoming weeks.

The Nova 14 series was expected to debut in April this year. Although the launch frame has shifted to May, probably due to hardware and software optimizations.

Note that the company hasn’t teased the Nova 14 series nor shared its launch date at the event. But as per the previous revelations and the latest inputs, we can witness the new-gen Nova smartphones on May 19.

According to early leaks, the Nova 14 series will be the strongest mid-ranger among the three Nova generations. It will likely equip a new-gen Kirin 5G chipset that will deliver an improved and more seamless performance.

On the flip side, the devices could bring major changes in terms of design and camera capabilities. Rumors say that the Huawei Nova 14 series may sport the Mate 70 Pro’s multi-spectral camera to enhance color restoration for more vibrant shots.

A flat screen can be another noteworthy addition to the Nova 14 series. The company is expected to use flat display panels instead of curvy ones for the new Nova handsets.
