Huawei Nova 14 rumored to debut in April with Kirin 9 series upgrade

Huawei could launch the Nova 14 series in April this year. The company is working on the mid-range smartphones. A new input now allegedly reveals the possible launch date of the upcoming lineup. The devices could come sooner than Nova 13.

Early leaks suggested that Huawei may unveil its next Nova series in the first half of this year. Now, another rumor has pointed out an expected time on this matter.

FixedFocus predicts that the Huawei Nova 14 series will launch in April. The mid-range smartphone lineup will be released earlier than its predecessors.

The tipster further mentioned that the major upgrade in the new handsets will be the Kirin 9 series chipset. Huawei will use an optimized chip for its upcoming Nova phones. It could equip overclocked cores to boost the device’s performance.

Nova 13 series entered the consumer world with the Kirin 8000 chip. It was expected to feature Pura 70 Ultra’s processor. Although the company stuck to the 8 series SoC, offering a decent performance and amazing AI photo-editing features.

Huawei may change this trend with the Nova 14 series using a Kirin 9 SoC. It may adopt a new chip or any Kirin 9 series derivative for the upcoming mid-rangers.
