Huawei Nova 13 ranked third in China’s top 5 best-selling smartphones

Counterpoint has recently shared China’s top 5 best-selling smartphones, alongside 8 more countries, and one of these top sellers is the Huawei Nova 13. The device debuted last year and continues to rule the mid-range Chinese phone market.
The report shows the best-selling smartphone model in March 2025 across eight countries. These countries include the USA, China, India, Germany, the UK, France, South Korea, and Japan. Apple remained at the top in almost every country.
iPhone 16 Pro Max and Pro received the first and second positions in China’s top 5 best-selling smartphones listing, but the surprising name is Huawei Nova 13.
According to the details, the Huawei Nova 13 has ranked third in the latest ranking. It obtained a 3% sales share in the Chinese smartphone market for March 2025.
On the flip side, the standard iPhone 16 ranked fourth, and the OPPO A3x grabbed the fifth position. Apart from Apple, Samsung also remained a star in some countries.
Huawei launched the Nova 13 series in October last year. It also debuted in the global market and caught consumers’ attention for its plaid-textured design and impressive camera capabilities, better than many flagship models.

The ultimate mid-range model is also helping the company to regain its value in the global market. Being a cost-effective device, it bears flagship-level specifications, such as AI photo-editing features, new software capabilities, and more.
Huawei has now launched the Nova 14 series in China with surprising upgrades. Whether the new lineup will be able to defeat its predecessor and other models in the market or land on the same position as Nova 13 would be worth looking at.
