Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite receiving smart charging feature with new software update

Alongside security updates, Huawei also delivering features for some devices, which the users are largely waiting for. In this series, Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite starts receiving a new software update that improves the battery life.

For your information, this update brings the smart charging function that slows down battery aging by using artificial intelligence charging habits that prevent batteries from overcharging.

Latest EMUI version: 

Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite tablet users can identify this update with EMUI 8.0 version 8.0.0.360 (OCEC431) with an update size of 145MB.

The Huawei MediaPad M5 Lite users are waiting for EMUI 9.0 upgrades but the company hasn’t made any announcement regarding this matter. However, this tab is still performing well and receiving continuous updates for 2.5 years.

On the other hand, Huawei is set to launch a flagship tablet, Huawei MatePad Pro 2 reportedly on June 2. It will come with a large display, pre-installed HarmonyOS, a powerful Kirin processor, and other new smart features.

Changelog:

  • Added smart charge mode to slow down better aging, which uses artificial intelligence to learn your charging habits and prevent continued charging when the battery is fully charged.

  1. We recommend you take a backup of your important data.
  2. Use a stable connection to download the update package.
  3. Do not forcefully turn off the phone, once the installation is started.

  5. Download and Install
  6. Install and restart your device
