Even though Huawei has officially scheduled the Pura 80 series launch for next month, it may begin its first sale in July. A new input suggests that the consumers might have to wait a little longer to get the flagship phones in their hands.

Weibo tipster @FixedFocus has revealed that Huawei will launch the first sale of the Pura 80 series in July this year. The sale time is quite in line with a previous rumor that said the upcoming Pura models will go live in Q3 this year.

The latest leak hints that Huawei will officially unveil the Pura 80 series by the end of June. The company confirmed the launch month but hasn’t mentioned the exact release time yet. Hence, we can expect a grand event later that month.

Following the leak, another tipster added that the Pura 80 series could release on June 10. Although these handsets will be available widely in July 2025.

The accuracy of the Pura 80 series launch date is still doubtful. Though the Chinese tech giant will share details on this matter alongside an official teaser in the future.

The Pura 80 sales timeline hints that the Huawei Mate 80 series could also witness a delay in the official unveiling. It could launch in December this year. Meanwhile, some netizens said that the company may shift the Mate 80 launch to 2026.

Delaying smartphone sales instead of selling them right away after their launch seems to be a new market strategy. It could be a way of hiding the Kirin chip from the US scrutiny, as the company is already dealing with tougher trade rules.
