Huawei MatePad launched featuring 10.4-inch display, M-Pencil, Kirin 810 and EMUI 10.1

On April 23, Huawei launched the second tablet from its MatePad series  – Huawei MatePad. Featuring a big 10.4-inch display with 7.9mm bezels size and screen ratio of 84%. The display has a resolution of 2K resolution of 2000 x 1200 and produces 70% of NTSC color gamut.

The design of the MatePad has new metal antenna technology that doesn’t appear on the frame of the display and works within the device without disturbing the design aesthetics. Huawei MatePad weighs only 450g, which makes it easy to hold in one hand.

The MatePad supports a variety of educational and learning apps. The tablet also has an e-book mode, which adjusts contrast, brightness, sharpness, saturation, and other display settings to simulate the actual book pages and provide eye protection while reading an ebook on the display.

In the camera department, Huawei MatePad features an 8MP rear and an 8MP camera on the front. Talking about performance, this tablet is powered by 7nm Kirin 810 processor and equips a 7250 big battery life that can be recharged with 18W fast charging.

For productivity, it supports Huawei M-Pencil stylus with 160mm hexagonal design. This stylus has a 4096-level of pressure sensitivity and ultra-low latency of 20ms.

The M-Pencil stylus can be charged by magnetic charging, with 100 percent charging in 30 minutes, and can be used for 10 hours.

Moreover, the Huawei MatePad runs the latest EMUI 10.1 operating system, with features such as Multi-screen collaboration, mobile screen projection, and more.

The Pre-order of Huawei MatePad in China will start from April 23 and the first sale is scheduled for April 26.
