Huawei MatePad 11 (2021) getting October 2023 update but still waiting for HarmonyOS 4

On October 24, 2023, Huawei released a new software update for the Huawei MatePad 11 (2021) tablet model in the global market and it comes with new security improvements.

According to the changelog, Huawei is pushing this new firmware with an updated package version 3.0.0.208. Notably, the download size is 251 megabytes. However, the package only has October 2023 security patch.

Despite getting the latest security improvements, Huawei MatePad 11 2021 is still lagging behind in installing the new HarmonyOS 4 software update. On the other hand, Huawei MatePad 11 is eligible to grab this new major upgrade in China.

Users of the Huawei MatePad 11 2021 tablet can download the October 2023 update via software updates settings and then move towards the CHECK FOR UPDATES options. You can backup some important files in order to take some safety measures.
