Huawei MatePad 10.4 tablets receiving new software update

The latest HarmonyOS 2.0 software update, which is rolling out for several devices carries a number of new changes and optimizations. The same firmware is now making its way to the MatePad 10.4-inch tablet and it includes both the 4G and 5G versions.

The MatePad 10.4 tablets are receiving the latest HarmonyOS 2.0 version 2.0.0.165 upgrading from version 2.0.0.136. To be mentioned, this update will also follow the same trend of staged rollout and may take time to reach your device at once.

What’s New:

For the non 5G version of MatePad 10.4, this software update brings new features in the Super Device settings, adding several new control options to manage multiple devices. It adds support for the Huawei FreeBuds 4.

Moreover, the control panel display interface is now optimized and the experience of the drop-down status bar while playing has been improved. Additionally, the firmware also carries security improvements for the enhanced system security.
