Huawei Mate XT triple foldable gathered spotlight at MWC 2025

Huawei unveiled several AI products during the MWC 2025 event on March 3 in Barcelona, and Mate XT triple foldable has mainly gathered the spotlight. It got immense attention for its unique hinge technology and advanced design capabilities.

During the MWC 2025 event, Huawei highlighted the Mate XT triple foldable. It also exhibited various devices to grab the attention of attendees. One can explore products from health & fitness, photography, creative tools, and more zones.
People were mainly excited to experience the world’s first tri-fold phone. The device comes with various tech-pack features like a super-durable hinge, an inward + outward folding mechanism, a 10-size adjustable variable aperture, and more.
King Felipe VI of Spain visited Huawei’s booth to experience the innovative tri-fold handset. He seemed impressed with the company’s creativity and new ideology.

Mate XT has three screens featuring 3K ultra-high resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It equips a 10.2-inch display panel and measures 12.8mm in thickness.
The device carries a triple-camera setup with a 50MP primary lens, a 12MP ultrawide-angle shooter, and a 12MP periscope sensor. The front side has an 8MP selfie camera. It comes with EMUI 14.2 in the global market and runs on Kirin 9010 5G.
Huawei Mate 70 Series at MWC 2025
Apart from the triple foldable smartphone, the company exhibited the most powerful Mate in history – the Mate 70 series at the MWC 2025 event. The lineup gathered attention for its unique Ultra Chroma camera and precise color restoration.
It also reflected the Multi-exposure and AI retouch features. Mate X6 was also shelved at the event, allowing consumers to test the durability and reliability of the foldable.
Other devices on the list include the Huawei Watch GT 5 series and the Watch D2, powered by the TruSense system. Visitors explored the upgraded Health Glance, health indicators, and many other capabilities of the smartwatches.
Another handset that grabbed attention at the MWC25 conference was the MatePad Pro 13.2 2025 tablet. Packed with the GoPaint app and PaperMatte tech, the tablet offers a smooth and super-fascinating experience to both eyes and hands.
