Woah! Huawei has now confirmed the global launch of the Mate X7 foldable for December 11. The company will hold a grand release event in Dubai next month to unveil its more iconic folding smartphone. Alongside, we may find some more surprises.

Huawei has dropped a big teaser of the Mate X7 on its X page, announcing its global launch date for December 11. The company didn’t reveal many details about the event, but simply mentioned the following words in the caption:

“Unfold the new chapter. Dubai, 11 December 2025. #UnfoldtheMoment #HuaweiLaunch #HUAWEIMateX7”

Beneath the caption, Huawei shared a giant image of the Mate X7, showing its unique camera bump design. The iconic star-diamond cut on the back makes the foldable more mesmerising and unique, giving it a premium look.

Mate X7 has already launched in China on November 25. The device came with a plethora of surprising features. Of course, the highlight was the new Kirin 9030 Pro 5G chipset and its royal camera look called “Gate of Time and Space.”

Besides, the Mate X7 comes out of the box with HarmonyOS 6.0 in its home ground. Whether Huawei will introduce a new EMUI version for the device or use the same 15th iteration is a mystery to be resolved.

It would be worth seeing if Huawei debuts the same chipset for the global Mate X7 foldable or continues to make some amendments in the key specs of the device.

Apart from the dynamic folding phone, the company hasn’t revealed details for any other product. Though we can expect to see other creations like the FreeBuds Pro 5, Watch Ultimate Purple + Gold Edition, and the MatePad Edge on the stage.

Huawei will unfold the new chapter of innovation in the global market on 11 December. In the meantime, we may see more amazing teasers related to the foldable and more devices. Stay tuned.
