Huawei Mate X7 could unfold special camera upgrades

Huawei is preparing to introduce new foldable phones this year. And looks like the Huawei Mate X7, in particular, will be the most powerful camera folding handset. The device has already begun setting rumors to debut with massive camera surprises.
Weibo tipster DigitalChatStation has come up with a new array of Huawei Mate X7 camera upgrades. The new leak sheds light on three lenses: the main camera, a super-advanced periscope sensor, and an enhanced multispectral lens.
The new flagship foldable may stick to a tri-camera structure with a 50MP primary shooter. The lens will likely attach to a variable aperture, which is responsible for adjusting and controlling the amount of light intake in the camera sensor.
Variable aperture also looks after the depth of the field in the image. It lets users seamlessly switch between different aperture sizes to improve the image quality in distinct lighting conditions and achieve desired depth-of-field effects.
The next addition can be a high-pixel-periscope telephoto camera. Huawei introduced a dynamic periscope camera technology with Pura 80 Ultra. Perhaps, the company may use an upgraded periscope lens for its next-gen foldable as well.

Finally, Huawei may continue to use a multi-spectral camera for the Mate foldable. The company has implemented a 1.5MP lens into the Mate X6 last year to boost the color accuracy and deliver more vibrant and naturalistic images.
Although this time, the OEM may increase the number of megapixels for the multispectral camera. The leak describes similar camera upgrades for the second tri-foldable smartphone as well.
Even though Mate models are considered to focus on performance, the tech giant may offer major upgrades to this year’s Mate handsets. Before these models, we will likely witness a mid-range foldable phone in the marked called Nova Flip 2!
