Huawei Mate X7 and Pocket 3 coming soon with innovative upgrades
This year is full of extraordinary Huawei products and two of them are seemingly the Mate X7 and Pocket 3. The company has several surprises waiting for us in the first and second half of this year including the flagship foldable lineups.
DigitalChatStation says that Huawei will update its book-type and clamshell foldable phones this year as Mate X7 and Pocket 3. Both folding devices are expected to bring innovative upgrades. These changes could be related to the appearance.
Mate X7 will likely compete with rivals like OPPO Find N5, Magic V4, and Vivo X Fold 4. Meanwhile, the Pocket 3 may battle with Xiaomi MIX Flip 2 and Magic V Flip 2 in the Chinese smartphone market. The showdown would be worth looking at.
The tipster implies that all the above-mentioned phones will be released this year. However, the companies may change the rhythm of the launch time for these devices.

Huawei Pocket 2 launched in February last year. The device was expected to debut in 2023 but was delayed due to unknown reasons. Unlike the Pocket S, the new flip-flop model came with four cameras, a bigger cover screen, and a stylish design.
The same happened with Mate X6. Based on the Mate X5 launch, leaks said that the device may launch in September 2024. However, Huawei surprised everyone by launching the foldable in November alongside Mate 70, without the Pioneer Plan.
Pocket 3 has started surfacing in the leaks section. Perhaps, the device may launch in the first quarter of this year. Meanwhile, the Mate X7 could have booked a slot in H1 2025. Details are uncertain for now but may get clear in the coming days.
Huawei Mate X6
The device has a similar appearance to the previous-gen model. Though it is full of smart tools and technologies. Huawei has fed Mate X6 with Kirin 9020 5G, HarmonyOS NEXT, and various AI features that make it different from other foldable phones.
Huawei Pocket 2
The flip-flop model comes in two variants: Standard and Art. Both have better changes, an impressive design, and stylish accessories than the Pocket S foldable.
Now the company is working on its new foldable phones. As per Huawei’s goal for 2025, these new folding handsets could bring unimaginable features and some innovative upgrades this year.
