Huawei Mate X3 to feature Kirin 9000 processor

Huawei is seemingly working on a new foldable phone – Mate X3, this new phone will have a new kind of user experience for the consumers. Although, Huawei has not announced any new information regarding this device but we now have more information on Mate X3.

A tipster from Weibo has revealed that the upcoming Huawei Mate X3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 but there could also be a Kirin 9000 4G chispet version. This is a piece of very important information that is just dropped into our corner and sufficient to keep us on our toes.

Other than Kirin 9000, the tipster suggested that Huawei Mate X3 will have improved back texture as compared to the previous version of the Mate X foldable phone. Furthermore, it’s speculated that this new foldable phone could be introduced in April this year.

Kirin 9000:

Kirin 9000 is built on a 5nm process and comes with octa-core architecture – 1x Cortex-A77 at 3.13 GHz, 3x Cortex-A77 at 2.54 GHz, and 4x Cortex-A55 at 2.05 GHz. Kirin 9000 has 24-core Mali-G78, Kirin Gaming+ 3.0. On the flip side, the chipset will boast AI performance with Huawei Da Vinci Architecture 2.0 and 2x Ascend Lite + 1x Ascend Tiny core.

Certification:

As spotted before, a phone with model number – PAL-AL00 has received MIIT certification in China, which could allegedly be the Mate X3. Still, the phone is powered by a 4G enabled processor instead of 5G.

Huawei Mate X2:

Huawei Mate X2 is all about its displays. Talking first about the main display, it’s an 8-inch foldable panel that could generate 16.7 million colors. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate along with 2480 x 2200 pixels resolution.

On the other hand, the external panel expands at 6.45-inches and supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate along with a 90Hz refresh rate as well as 2700 x 1160 pixel resolution.
