Huawei Mate X2 is the next-generation folding smartphone that comes with a new in-ward foldable design, powered by Kirin 9000 processor, EMUI 11 software, an amazing two-display system, a 4500mAh battery, flagship camera setup, and more to level up the user experience.

Recently, a well-known durability tester from YouTube – JerryRigEverything has tested the latest folding phone of Huawei Mate X2, and the phone remains unbreakable in every test.

Types of test performed on Huawei Mate X2:

  • Scratch test
  • Flame test
  • Bent test
  • Razor knife test
  • Dust test

After performing the above test, Zach Nelson host of JerryRigEverything confirmed that its case, frame, and secondary display are tough like other flagships.

Additionally, he claims that the main AMOLED display is coated with polyimide instead of ultra-thin glass as in other foldable smartphones. In the scratch test, the scratches at a level 2 with deeper grooves at a level 3 were found.

At last, with the serious bent test, Huawei Mate X2 proved that it’s not a normal phone that can fold but it’s an extra premium phone with extra sturdiness and didn’t bend at all in the respective test.
