Huawei Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition allegedly shipped 200000 units

Huawei Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition is seemingly doing well in the market as it has allegedly surpassed 200000 units. The device was launched two weeks back and showed surprising performance in the Chinese phone sales market.
A recent input reveals that Huawei Mate 70 Pro Premium Edition has crossed 200000 units in just two weeks of launch. Though it equips a downgrade chip, consumers seemingly loved the device for its efficient performance and Pro-like features.
Mate 70 Pro Premium is similar to the original variant, except price and chip. While the standard Mate Pro equips Kirin 9020, the Premium Edition runs on 9020A.
- Kirin 9020A: 2 large core @ 2.40GHz + 6 medium cores @ 2.00GHz + 4 small cores @ 1.60GHz
The difference lies in the large and medium core frequency. Although it offers 35% improved performance over Mate 60 Pro, which doesn’t vary much from the original chip.
Meanwhile, the Premium Edition is 300 yuan cheaper than the Mate 70 Pro. Perhaps the second difference has attracted consumers’ attention to the top-end yet affordable model and resulted in fruitful sales.
Specifications:
The phone has four colors: Spruce Green, Hyacinth Purple, Snow White, and Obsidian Black. It equips a 6.9-inch OLED with 1.07 billion colors, a P3 wide color gamut, a 120Hz refresh rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and 300Hz touch feedback.
Huawei has seeded the HarmonyOS 4.3 version into the Premium device, but it can be upgraded to the HarmonyOS NEXT for a native software experience.
It has the same quad-camera system with a 50MP main lens, a 40MP ultrawide-angle shooter, a 48MP macro telephoto, and a 1.5MP multi-spectral lens. The front part has a 13MP lens with 3D depth. The device has a 5500mAh cell with 100W fast charging support, 18W wired, 80W wireless, and 20W wireless reverse charging.
