Huawei Mate 60 series and Mate X5 sales exceeds 10 million units: Supply Chain

Huawei smartphone products continue to gain popularity in the market meanwhile, the supply chain sources reveal that the Mate 60 series and the Mate X5 foldable handset sales exceeded around 10 million units as of March 1.

The Wall Street Insights discovered from its supply chain sources that the flagship Huawei Mate 60 series and the Mate X5 models surpassed 10 million units in sales. This marks new achievements for the company in the smartphone business.

Huawei launched the Mate 60 lineup and Mate X5 with Kirin 5G chips. The return of the self-developed processor from the brand resulted in booming sales of these handsets. These segments helped the tech maker to reach top positions in the market.

Several reports from research organizations claimed that Huawei saw a rise in the shipment value since the fourth quarter of 2023. It shipped around 10.4 million units, covering 47% of new flagships, and entered in the top five rankers.

Meanwhile, the company climbed up to first place within two weeks of 2024 in the Chinese smartphone market. Similarly, Huawei Mate X5 helped the tech giant to secure the highest spot in the foldable phone franchise in China.

Alternatively, the Huawei P70 series is in the making and expected to boost the shipment value by 150% YoY. The upcoming lineup is hearsay to bring powerful camera features and upgraded capabilities to achieve the shipment target.

Huawei Mate 60 Series:

The standard model brings a 6.69-inch OLED slate which supports 1.07 billion colors with a P3 wide color gamut. It also adopts a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a 300Hz touch sampling rate.

Whereas, the Pro model sports a 6.82-inch screen along with a 120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and a second-generation Kunlun Glass. It also packs a 5000mAh battery with 88W fast charging facility. It is the first device to feature satellite calling capability.

Mate 60 Pro has a triple-cam setup at the rear end with a 50MP main shooter, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 48MP periscope telephoto sensor. It also has a 13MP selfie shooter with numerous optical modes.

Huawei Mate X5:

The folding phone also has a triple-lens arrangement with a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra wide-angle shooter, as well as a 12MP periscope telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom capabilities.

On the front side, the phone has an 8MP selfie shooter It equips a 7.85-inch main screen and a 6.4-inch cover OLED panel. These screens support a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
