Huawei Mate 60 Pro satellite calling costs 100 yuan ($13) for 80 minutes of talktime

Huawei Mate 60 Pro is the first smartphone to come with a satellite calling feature, and now we have access to its plan pricing, which starts at 100 yuan (13 USD, 12 EUR).

According to Huawei Smart Devices BG CTO, Bruce Lee, only China Telecom cards support the satellite calling feature. Users need to apply for this service using the China Telecom app.

There are two plans that are currently open for the Huawei Mate 60 Pro users including a 100 yuan plan for 80 minutes of satellite calling. On the other hand, users can also subscribe to a 200 yuan (27 USD, 25 EUR). plan, which activates 200 minutes of calling. Both of these plans are drawn as monthly packs.

There are also some rules in this service, which indicates that there are a few limitations on the use case. Yet, these may not be too much complicated for the users. The company also confirmed that the satellite calling feature is supported by the Taintong terminal, which is developed in China.
