Huawei Mate 50 will launch tomorrow and the company doesn’t want to go this day without amazing us. That’s how Huawei has published a new teaser of the upcoming Mate 50 lineup with the showcase of satellite communication feature.

The teaser video shows how satellite communication will fill up the Huawei Mate 50 network via satellite if it goes down due to the lack of local network services.

Previous reports reveal that the Huawei Mate 50 series is the first to inherit this feature, while the iPhone 14 may also come with it.

According to the information, the feature lets you conduct calls and communication services even when the phone has no local network service.

However, an active service provider is required to support such a feature and link your phone directly to the satellite communication, in case you enter into a low network coverage area.

It’s a real deal, and such a feature will offer great functionality in users’ hands. That’s how the Chinese tech maker is working to bring new tech to consumers and is the first one in the industry to do so.

Other key features:

Previously, Huawei has published a number of teasers that have brought us the feature of this upcoming premium Huawei device. These include emergency battery mode, a variable aperture camera system to control better light, as well as the new Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche Design.

However, there could be a lot more waiting for us behind the door, as the phone series will unveil on September 6.
