Huawei Mate 50 series and its constant journey toward the price hike is the main headline nowadays. In the latest section, we have caught the Huawei Mate 50 Pro that is gaining a gradual raise in its price in the second-hand market.

Yes, that’s correct! The recently-released “Mobile Phone Market Report in the Third Quarter of 2022” by Zhuanxhuan Group states that Mate 50 series is not sitting quietly in the market. As per the details, Huawei Mate 50 standard and Pro variants continue to increase the price in the secondary merchandise.

Here, the term ‘second-hand market’ makes this news quite interesting. If we go around the price trends in the secondary values, then we have always seen a decline in the rates. Most of the old models sold in secondary places often get a price drop.

However, when it comes to Huawei, things have taken a surprising turn. The latest report reveals that the price of Mate 30 and Mate 40 models have slightly increased in this quarter. Meanwhile, the iPhone models are also following the price-increase steps.

And let’s not forget about the Mate 50 price which has increased by 1000 yuan [139.51 USD] in the second-hand markets. The executives of the Zhuanzhuan group mention that there has been a gentle raise in the Mate 50 series rates.

This rise could be a reason for the fallback of Huawei in the second-hand market. Apple is leading with 28.89 percent, but Huawei is running with only 14.25 percent of transaction volume. Alternatively, Vivo, Oppo, and Xiaomi are also sharing this report.

With the onset of the Mate 50 series sale, the price went from 100 yuan to 400 yuan. By the end of September, the ordinary version of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro increased by several hundred yuan. While the Kunlun version has directly shown a price hike of 900 yuan to 1,100 yuan [125.59 – 153.50 USD] in the second-hand market.

Additionally, Huawei Mate 50 RS Porsche Edition is still relying on the premium rate. In comparison to the initial price, the resale price of the second-hand surface has reached more than 3000 yuan [418.63 USD].

Apart from Huawei, iPhone 14 series is also varying in price rates. Further, the information suggests Huawei continues to lead the second-hand base by remaining in the top 10 models. In terms of folding screens, the Huawei Mate Xs 2 come up with a preservation value of 84.89%. While the P50 Pocket price has dropped by 17.36%.

The flagship models will resume their journey to price hikes. But what about the Huawei Mate 50 series? Will it stop the increase here, or will it reach a new height in the time ahead? We will keep posting you with the latest details.
