Today is the day, Huawei Mate 50 Pro will unveil to consumers and ahead of the final hours, the phone has been benchmarked. According to the information, the processor of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro is likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

A Huawei model DCO-AL00 has been tested on Geekbench with a single core of 1266 points, while the phone has a 3988 multi-core score. The model is expected to be the Huawei Mate 50 Pro and it comes with an octa-core processor.

According to the testing results, the processor has cores including 1 x 3.19 GHz X2+ 3 x 2.75 GHz A710+ 4 x 2.02 GHz A510, Adreno 730 GPU. On the other hand, the phone is powered by HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system.

It is noted that the core frequency matches the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset 8+. Currently, it’s not confirmed by Huawei but we can rest assured because the event is happening today, and know whether the Huawei Mate 50 Pro will be featured with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.

By Samsung?

Snapdragon 888 chipset on Huawei P50 devices has been supplied by Samsung because it was tendered for the 4G version of the chipset by Qualcomm.

On the other hand, it’s expected that the latest 4G chipset for the company has been supplied directly by Qualcomm and made by TSMC. What’s the difference, the chipset of the Huawei P50 has severe heating issues when you try to perform any intense task such as a game or even during charging, which doesn’t seem to be an issue in the TSMC version of the chipset.

No Kirin?

Currently, Huawei has not confirmed any of the processor-related information on the matter but we could say that the Kirin chipset has a low chance of Kirin making an appearance on the Huawei Mate 50 series but we’ll wait for later today.
