Huawei Mate 50 Pro benchmarked with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1

Today is the day, Huawei Mate 50 Pro will unveil to consumers and ahead of the final hours, the phone has been benchmarked. According to the information, the processor of the Huawei Mate 50 Pro is likely to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
A Huawei model DCO-AL00 has been tested on Geekbench with a single core of 1266 points, while the phone has a 3988 multi-core score. The model is expected to be the Huawei Mate 50 Pro and it comes with an octa-core processor.
According to the testing results, the processor has cores including 1 x 3.19 GHz X2+ 3 x 2.75 GHz A710+ 4 x 2.02 GHz A510, Adreno 730 GPU. On the other hand, the phone is powered by HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system.
It is noted that the core frequency matches the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset 8+. Currently, it’s not confirmed by Huawei but we can rest assured because the event is happening today, and know whether the Huawei Mate 50 Pro will be featured with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
By Samsung?
Snapdragon 888 chipset on Huawei P50 devices has been supplied by Samsung because it was tendered for the 4G version of the chipset by Qualcomm.
On the other hand, it’s expected that the latest 4G chipset for the company has been supplied directly by Qualcomm and made by TSMC. What’s the difference, the chipset of the Huawei P50 has severe heating issues when you try to perform any intense task such as a game or even during charging, which doesn’t seem to be an issue in the TSMC version of the chipset.
No Kirin?
Currently, Huawei has not confirmed any of the processor-related information on the matter but we could say that the Kirin chipset has a low chance of Kirin making an appearance on the Huawei Mate 50 series but we’ll wait for later today.

Huawei Mate X3 will bring better camera, light design, launching next month

Huawei Mate X3 is coming and it will have a better camera tagged with design aspects to provide a new user experience. Interestingly, the device could make its appearance next month and probably alongside the Huawei P60 series.
According to the inputs from Weibo tipster, Classmateguan, the Huawei Mate X3 equips better camera quality with imaging capability. The phone will be light in design, which could increase the overall experience in hand.
Noteworthy, the price is not likely to be high. Looking at the predecessor, Huawei Mate X2 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM launch price was 17999 ($2782), and 8GB RAM + 512GB ROM price was 18999 ($2938).
It’s anticipated that Mate X3 will have a better foldable screen and good texture on the rear side. I am wondering, whether it will get a special edition.
Lastly, the tipster mentioned that Huawei Mate X3 could launch in March this year, possibly at the same time as the P60 lineup. It could also mean that the Chinees tech makes introduced both of these devices together.
However, no confirmation is in our corner at the moment.
A live image leak of the phone reveals a quad camera setup, consisting of a Periscope zoom on the top row. However, the camera layout appears square and it could carry a ring bump similar to the Mate 50 series. But we await more information on the camera specs.
Aside from these, Huawei will use the side opening and closing mechanism in this foldable, which makes it unique on its own. Despite recent rumors, it’s reported that Huawei Mat X3 is already under production and we could soon see it in a launch event.
Also, there’s one feature that is highly likely to debut in this folding-screen smartphone, satellite communication. Holds on! It may be the second generation of this amazing feature with two-way communication capability.

Check Huawei P60 Pro test device in clear view

A few days ago, a Huawei P60 Pro live image appeared, showcasing a test version of this device, and now, HoiIndi has recreated this machine to provide a clear view of the design.
Aside from all things, the Huawei P60 Pro test machine has a rectangular camera bump and dual ring camera system similar to what we’ve seen in the P50 Pro but with a finishing touch of silver ring around.
The camera has a pure white finish, the upper ring houses two cameras, and the bottom ring includes a periscope camera with an LED flash. The camera bump also consists of a fourth camera. The cameras are outlined by silver rings around them, which is looking unique on their own. The cherry on top is added by the XMAGE camera system.

The concept creator imagined this smartphone in ceramic white color. On the other front side, it has a curved edge display and center hole punch design to house a selfie camera. This is a real clear view of the Huawei P60 Pro test device and we like it.
According to past information, the Huawei P60 series will boast a new camera system. However, past input suggests that this may not be the final camera, as it will be formed in a brand new way but nothing is certain at the moment.
Huawei P60 series will launch in the first quarter of 2023 and it will be an interesting unveiling on sight. You can check more information below.

According to the input coming from a Weibo tipster, Digitalchatstation, Huawei is testing the Nova series with a high-frequency flagship Snapdragon 8 series chipset, although, the tipster has not revealed the name of the device but it’s likely to be the Nova 20 lineup.
Huawei Nova series represents somewhere above the mid-range tier but the Chinese tech maker launches these devices with top-notch specs such as superfast 100W charging technology. Aside from the testing, a past report reveals that Huawei Nova 20 Pro could use a low-frequency Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ chipset.
The tipster further suggests that the phone models also tested with 108MP high-quality cameras and 50MP main cameras. These are quite amazing unveilings as Huawei is using a 108MP camera in the Nova SE models, while the 50MP camera is used in the mainstream devices.
Other than these, there’s no additional information available about the specifications or the design of the Huawei Nova 20 series.
Looking back into the past releases, Huawei Nova 10 and 10 Pro are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G 4G octa-core chipset (Octa-core, 4 × Cortex-A78 at 2.4 GHz + 4 × Cortex-A55 at 1.8 GHz).
The Huawei Nova 9 and Nova 9 Pro also used the same processor. However, this time, the tech maker could ramp up efforts and include a new processor.
Huawei Nova 10 Pro features a triple camera system of 50 MP Ultra Vision Photography (f/1.8 aperture), 8 MP Ultra-Wide Marco Camera (f/2.2 aperture), and 2 MP Portrait Depth Camera (f/2.4 aperture).
While it uses a 60 MP Ultra-Wide Angle Autofocus Camera (f/2.4 aperture) + 8 MP Portrait Close-up Camera Camera (f/2.2 aperture) on the front side. Huawei Nova 10 series comes with a cylindrical design.
