Huawei Mate 40 Pro gets December 2022 EMUI update in Europe

Huawei is expanding the reach of the December 2022 EMUI security update for the Mate 40 Pro smartphone to Europe. The company initiated this rollout a few days ago and it improves the phone’s security.

According to Huaweiblog, Huawei Mate 40 Pro users in Europe is getting December 2022 update with EMUI version 12.0.0.296. Similar to the initial release, phone users are grabbing this firmware gradually.

However, the European users of the phone are also waiting for the EMUI 13 rollout but the company has not revealed an exact date for the roadmap or the eligible devices.

This update improves system security with security patches.

Huawei Mate 40 Pro users can download the latest software update via Settings > System & updates > Software updates > from here tap on the CHECK FOR UPDATES button on the very bottom of the screen.
