On October 22, Huawei launched its new Mate flagship, the Huawei Mate 40. This lineup has four models – Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, and Mate 40 RS. Aside from the top models, the standard – Mate 40 didn’t initially make available for purchase but now it’s preparing for its first sale.

According to the information, Huawei Mate 40 will be on sale on December 21 and the pre-sale will start from tomorrow in China. The 8GB + 128GB version is priced at 4999 yuan ($760) and 8GB+256GB version at 5499 yuan ($840).

Huawei Mate 40 is equipped with a 5nm Kirin 9000E consisting of an octa-core CPU, 22-core Mali-G78 GPU, and a dedicated NPU unit. The phone features a 6.5-inch OLED display, with FHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 15.7 million colors.

Huawei Mate 40 comes with triple rear cameras of 50MP ultra vision camera, 16MP cine camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera. On the front side, it has a 13MP ultra vision selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Huawei Mate 40 unpacks with EMUI 11 software system and packages a 4200mAh battery and recharges with a 40W fast charging as well as 40W wireless charging.
