Huawei is rolling out the HarmonyOS-based August 2022 security update for the flagship models in the native region, and the next one to receive this software is the Mate 30 series. As the name reflects, the update installs new fixes for the security system of the smartphone and makes it more responsive to the users.

In comparison to previous times, Huawei is slightly running late in distributing the August 2022 HarmonyOS updates among its devices. This is so because the company is busy dispatching the beta rollouts of HarmonyOS 3.0 for eligible devices.

This also gives a clue that Huawei will soon jump onto the stable version and might stretch the eligible device list to the Mate 30 series. Hence, if you are holding a Mate 30 handset, then don’t lose hope for the latest HarmonyOS interface.

Coming back onto the update, the August 2022 HarmonyOS update for the Huawei Mate 30 series covers a bunch of compatible devices. You can check these handsets, below.

  • Huawei Mate 30 4G (TAS-AL00)
  • Huawei Mate 30 (4G)  TAS-TL00
  • Huawei Mate 30 (5G) TAS-AN00
  • Huawei Mate 30 Pro (4G) LIO-AL00

  • Huawei Mate 30 Pro (5G) LIO-AN00

Users carrying any of the above-mentioned devices can install the latest HarmonyOS 2.0.0.273 build. But make sure that your smartphone is already running on the 2.0.0.263 version.
