Huawei Mate 30 Pro achieves the lowest audio score on DXOMARK but how?

Huawei Mate 30 series

Huawei Mate 30 Pro is the top scorers on DXOMARK’s camera evaluation but Audio of this flagship says a different story and failed to beat the Huawei Mate 20 X.

According to DXOMARK, Huawei Mate 30 Pro has achieved a total of 60 points and positioned at 10th place. On the other hand, Huawei Mate 20 X (4G) remains on the top spot with 75 points.

The difference in score may caused by acoustic display AKA sound on display featured on Huawei Mate 30 Pro and not produces audio for media playback. In addition, Huawei Mate 20 X audio system is completely different.

To evaluate a smartphone, DXOMARK has a team of audio engineers and uses a series of multimedia and audio samples that represent the full range of a user’s experience when recording and playing back the sound on speakers.
