DXOMARK Audio Test: Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G microphone is one of the best tested so far

Published

on

In a recent DXOMARK Audio experience evaluation, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has achieved a pretty moderate score for playback and excellent score for recording thanks to its dedicated microphone for active noise cancellation.

The low playback score is caused by acoustic display AKA sound on display featured on Huawei Mate 30 Pro and not produces audio for media playback due to only a single-channel speaker.

However, DXOMARK noted that the recordings done by the phone is top-notch. With the phone scoring 72, tied for the best score of any device tested so far.

It takes the lead over the LTE version thanks to slightly improved accuracy in tonal range reproduction and fewer audio playback artifacts.

To evaluate a smartphone, DXOMARK has a team of audio engineers and uses a series of multimedia and audio samples that represent the full range of a user’s experience when recording and playing back the sound on speakers.
