Huawei June 2022 HarmonyOS security patch is rapidly rolling in the Chinese market and reaching all the eligible devices as soon as possible. For the moment, Huawei Mate 20 X smartphone users started receiving the June 2022 update.
Alongside, Huawei has released the July 2022 EMUI security patch and will soon roll it out to its devices gradually. For your information, the new EMUI security patch fixes 2 critical, 12 high, and 18 medium levels of vulnerabilities of the system. Hence, one must install the patch as it appears on the device.
Speaking of the update, the latest information reveals that Huawei Mate 20 X June 2022 update is landing on the HarmonyOS firmware with build number 22.214.171.124. Consequently, users must have their device running on the 126.96.36.199 build to upgrade it to a new system.
For installing the new software manually, visit the Settings app. Further, select the System & Updates section, and tap on the Software Updates. Click on the Check for Updates and let the device fetch the latest firmware.
To the available software update, hit the Download & Install tab. Thereafter, reboot your device once so that it can completely adapt to the new application.
